Feminine Charms, Secrets and Virtues of the Geisha

This amazing guest post is written by my sister blogger Melina at ‘The Art of Being Feminine’. Melina is an extraordinary lady who is an expert in the field of femininity and continues to inspire hundreds of women to revel in their femininity.
You can find her blog here: http://theartofbeingfeminine.blogspot.com/
The geisha; a truly magical mixture of FEMININITY, nobility, sophistication, mysteriousness and seductiveness. Moreover, many of them are considered to be beautiful and witty. And, that particular mixture of feminine traits can virtually enslave a man!
The geisha are also very poised, graceful, elegant, demure, but smart damsels, who preside over everything with a most becoming dignity and precision. Every gesture and movement of their deft hands, have been prescribed by the most rigid of etiquette too.
However, many misinformed people are under the mistaken belief that geisha are courtesans or prostitutes. Perhaps even, your own opinion of the geisha has also been influenced by this mistaken belief. Well, let me tell you doves, this is NOT true! And, even though the geisha certainly does take her place as the natural recipient of masculine homage and admiration, a geisha can MARRY, and often does.
Until this modern era, the geisha were the most highly educated of Japanese women, skilled in all of the feminine arts, so naturally many of them made brilliant marriages!
Admittedly there will always be a few geisha who’ll probably make their profession an excuse for attracting rich admirers. But a professional courtesan she isn’t! And, her favors are certainly not for sale to ‘the highest bidder’! Interestingly, the geisha are generally quite virtuous ladies as well, and in most cases they’ll have enough assertiveness and strength of character to resist the flattering importunity of their suitors.
Now cupcakes, let’s move on to the numerous secrets, charms and virtues of the geisha, as well as try and describe them….

The Geisha – A Beautiful and Exotic ‘Butterfly of the East;

The geisha have often been referred to as ‘The Butterflies of the East,’ and they lure men from all over the world with their fantastical, exotic and heightened goddess-like appearance. They have dark peony red lips, the whitest of porcelain skin, and behind their necks are three soft pretty lines – forming what connoisseurs of beauty call “the necklace of Venus.”
The big loops of their blue-black hair are thrust full of wonderful combs, pins, pretty flowers and curious ornaments of gold. What beautifully dressed coiffures to admire!
The geisha’s beauty aims are to cultivate ‘the nine points of beauty’ (kokono-tokoro,) and these nine points of beauty entail the geisha’s;
1. Head
2. Face
3. Eyes
4. Mouth
5. Hands
6. Feet
7. Spirit
8. Posture
9. And, of course, SEDUCTIVE AIR!
When looking at the geisha, you’ll probably notice that every thing about them is extremely FEMININE AND DETAILED! A Western woman is usually impressed too, by the great detail, as well as cost of some of their gorgeous kimonos. In fact doves, no expense is spared in making them as beautiful as possible. (You can also learn more about the fine details of the beauty of a Geisha, the Geisha Lifestyle and the ways of a Geisha by reading the book ‘Memoirs of a Geisha‘ by Arthur Golden. A thoroughly enjoyable book!)
Moreover, the kimono deigns are carefully thought out, and a professional artist is selected to design them. And, after the work is completed, the stencils are usually destroyed, so that the pattern may never be duplicated.
Have you ever seen those Japanese kitten ornaments, which supposedly bring good-fortune? They sit erect, with one of their paws outstretched – as if tying to beckon the viewer (hence the name; ‘Beckoning Kitten.’) Now, those of you who know the soul of the geisha will probably agree that semblance of the kitten is also a semblance of the geisha – pretty, playful, beckoning and caressing!

The Geisha – Lovers of Men – and Loved By Men;

The occupants of the ‘flower and willow world’ truly LOVE men cupcakes (no feminists there,) and they’re often very romantic, passionate, as well as deeply sentimental woman. A geisha will also know by sight all the important men of her city, the character of each, as well as the history of all of them.
Not only does a geisha highly esteem and respect men, but she speaks to them in a soft and caressing voice – a voice without a hint of sarcasm, meanness or coarse speech. Many of them walk around smiling a lot of the time too – and with such an adorable appearance of child-like shyness and maidenly self-possession.
And, when a geisha’s in love, you’ll notice that she’s so full of delight, and her songs are usually about LOVE (and full of meaning) – sung to the notes of the samisen. In addition, the sentiment and phrasing of her songs are often ‘fairy-like’ in their delicacy.
It wasn’t uncommon in the past, for a geisha to die by her own hand – because she loved a man who for some reason, couldn’t marry her. Thankfully such a tragic ending for a geisha doesn’t happen today, and due to their many feminine charms and attributes, the geisha are much courted – and often make a brilliant match too!
A husband is often led captive by his geisha wife’s dreamy smile, and how her eyelids will slowly lift, to gaze at her man -and her marvelous black eyes will have real magic in them. Moreover, the exotic pleasures that a geisha wife can provide to her husband prove irresistible to him – and are incomparable to other women. In fact, despite a geisha’s look of innocence, the ‘arts of the bedchamber’ are taken very seriously by her indeed ;-)

The Geisha – A True Feminine Artist;

The very word geisha means ‘person of art’ – cultivated in all the arts and graces that may only add to their ability to PLEASE. Moreover, the geisha are adherents of ‘the feminine arts’ – in every sense of the word! Thus a geisha not only sings and dances attractively, but she’s a trained poet, writer, conversationalist, and temptress as well.
The Geisha are also the Japanese representatives of not only of the nine muses, but of some other goddesses (in particular of Hebe.) They entertain their audiences in tea houses, or at temple festivals, with singing, dancing, samisen playing, games, polite speech and pantomime. Other times their services are required at the private houses of high officials or dignitaries.
For a true fan of the geisha, or for a connoisseur of Japanese culture, each gesture of a dancing geisha is significant, and each pose symbolic. In pantomime, the geisha frequently develop great talent, which never fails to fascinate a foreigner, though to really appreciate their performances, a certain taste and love for Japanese culture is required.
The geisha are also required to pass the tea, sake, as well as the various cakes, fruits and Japanese dishes (that have been so daintily prepared,) amongst all their guests at performances, banquets, and even weddings. No matter where they happen to be, the way they serve the refreshments is controlled by strict etiquette.
**A maiko (a ‘geisha-in-training,’ but not yet a geisha,) already knows how to fill your wine cup exactly full, with a single toss of the bottle, and without spilling a drop!
As for the way the geisha perform, they can look like human dragon-flies, performing with such BEAUTY, POISE AND GRACE, that you’re almost speechless. Like running ribbons, you can witness them flowing in double streams across the stage – with such graceful whirls and eddies – bearing flowers in one hand, and a fan in the other.
Or you’ll catch them individually stepping out – perching, posing, pirouetting, darting and fluttering with the grace of a butterfly – through a maze of correlated motions. You’ll also notice that their darting here and there appears as an almost unconscious and automatic smoothness – of a bird or insect.
The geisha’s drums will rattle, and their zithers will clang, in perfect unison. Their singing is beautifully uplifting and intoxicating too. And, to fully appreciate many of the geisha’s performances, one must be aware of the hundreds of hours of painstakingly patient rehearsal. It’s also necessary to catch the geisha’s continual allusion to poems, legends, and even to flowers (which is an example of the treasure-house of Japanese memory,) to truly be able to appreciate their performances.
Moreover, in every patient artisan of Kyoto is that feminine spirit of CREATIVITY. Out of cotton and paper a geisha can fashion a poem so lovely, that it can haunt the memory of a man. And, so profound will be her poem, that the deepest instincts of the male beholder will be stirred.

The Geisha – A Most Charming Woman

A geisha is charming to everyone she meets, and she’s been well taught, above all else, to use her power of FEMININE CHARM to her greatest advantage. She may be free to smile upon anyone she pleases; but she’s also been trained to entertain the guests with her wit, her warmth, her sparkling conversation, and her flirtatiousness and coquetry – lending that attraction and brightness to social affairs
If YOU too are interested in being a charming woman, you can study; The Feminine Arts of Charm and Charisma Course

The Geisha – A Mysterious Woman;

The geisha are renowned for being MYSTERIOUS women, and they’ve always known that men have always been fascinated by mysterious women. But what actually is the mystery of the geisha, the screen’s aside and she’s kneeling on her mat? And, what are her realthoughts, emotions, and her ‘secret-self’ all about?
Perhaps, we’ll never, ever know ( and that’s just how a geisha likes it to be!) Moreover, if you’re interested in being a mysterious woman, you can read Renee’s excellent article‘How to Be Mysterious.’
I hope you enjoyed my article ‘The Feminine Charms, Secrets and Virtues of the Geisha.’ However, this is just a mere glimpse really, of the inhabitants of ‘The Flower and Willow World.’ However, in my school of courtesan and geisha arts for women, you can learn a whole multitude of geisha secrets – including their love and seduction secrets! ;-)

Do Men Prefer Younger Women?

I’d like to refer you to this video in which Bernard Chapin (a devout anti-feminist) talks about women, age, what men like, and this article titled: Cougars and MILF’s Rule! 40 Year old Women are WAY Hotter Than 20 Year Olds!
I will say that I am a fan of Bernard’s. He is very entertaining on camera (hilarious in fact), and he does have passion and a strong presence of which I respect and like. However, in this video he says (among other things):
“what men desire more than anything in women is youth; that’s just the way that it is. Youth Correlates with fertility. Men are devoted to women for the purposes of reproduction”.
This doesn’t send the nicest message to women around the world. What woman wants to think that when she reaches a certain age, that her man is going to want someone younger than her? Or that she’s no longer as valuable as a younger woman? What happens then, to the notion of love and attraction?
This is like saying: “women are devoted to men for the purposes of resources/money”. And though we know this is true for some women, for many women this is simply untrue. What about women saying that they only like tall men? What then, is to become of shorter men? Should they expect a lower quality of life because they are shorter than their male counterparts? The short answer is no.
Manliness has nothing to do with height. I’ve seen very short men who were so manly and attractive that I didn’t even consider their height to be an issue.
I would like to say however, that Bernard’s statement does have value, and it does have truth to it. For example, if a man is incompetent/unintelligent/cannot provide for a woman at all, he may not be as attractive to most females as other men  who have more resources. But my point is that women wouldn’t necessarily be devoted to men solely for their ability to provide/their money. If they were, they would take up any so-called ‘better opportunity’ that  comes along even if they were taken.
I believe women are devoted to a man  who is in his essence, a man. In other words, if he represents strength, has passion, is confident and driven; that’s attractive to a woman. There are exceptions though. A less driven man will, conversely, attract a woman who is more driven than him, because it makes up for his lack of direction. We attract what we deserve, and we attract a partner based on the energy we put out.
A sexually ‘neutral’ person (although they are rare), will not be so big on the masculine/feminine dichotomy however, and will be happy in a relationship where the roles are interchanged regularly. Most of us (80% of us) are either more masculine at our core, or more feminine, and therefore prefer (as well as attract) someone whose sexual essence is more opposite to ours.
Both Bernard’s statement above, and my example statement that ‘women are devoted to men for the purposes of resources/money’ indicate ONE thing. That in each respective scenario, the man/woman wants a partner of the opposite sex for what they can GET from them. This is what most people are like. They go in to a relationship thinking about what they can get from the other person. They want someone who makes them feel good. This is not the way to run a relationship!
And, though I do believe men want a woman who has great reproductive value, who is attractive, radiant and gorgeous, that’s not all there is to it.
I wanted to address this issue, because progressively over the years, I’ve heard women around me bemoan their age, and feel upset that they are ‘past their use-by date’, and they fear that their husband will leave them for a younger woman. And this is a terrible feeling for all women. We want to be loved! We don’t want to be traded in for a more ‘up-to-date’ model!
It’s true that there are women in their 50s who are being left by their husband – sometimes for a younger woman. But it really has nothing to do with your age.

What is youth?
‘Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.” – Anthony Robbins
Youth is energy. Youth is vitality. Youth is radiance.
Youth – is not dependent upon age. Youth is how a woman acts. Youth is a state of mind. Youth is founded upon your beliefs and values. There are a lot of 18 year-olds who look and act like they are about 40. Conversely, there are a lot of beautiful older women who look and act like they are 16.
Take Goldie Hawn for example. I’ve not seen a woman 60+ with more radiance in a while. She just oozes sex appeal, femininity and sensuality. I remember I was at a seminar run by Anthony Robbins back in 2007 with 5,000 other people, and he asked for a show of hands from the men who thought that Goldie Hawn was more attractive than her daughter, Kate Hudson. There was a significant number of men who raised their hands. No, I’m not kidding.
I won’t deny that there are men out there who want a younger woman. There are many men out there who want a woman for what she can do for him. Give him sex, better social status, make him look good, make him look like the ‘alpha male’, etc. But needless to say, there are plenty of men out there who are not looking for this specifically.
Some men will say they find younger women more attractive than an older woman and then talk about how attractive Halle Berry or Catherine Zeta-Jones are. Most women will talk about how these women have all had plastic surgery. But if you don’t believe a woman can look youthful and gorgeous 60 or even 70+ without surgery, please check out Mimi Kirk(if you haven’t seen or heard of her, please take a look, she is incredible)!

What do Men Want?
So, what is it exactly that men want? Is a woman unattractive past a certain age? Maybe to a certain type of man. But here’s the truth: ATTRACTION has little to do with age. Attraction has to do with polarity. Polarity meaning the masculine/feminine dichotomy that creates a spark in your relationship. Why else would there be so many younger men dating older women?
Polarity creates passion, excitement, that feeling of being in love, and ecstacy!
Attraction can be triggered regardless of age, and even despite a perceived ‘lack’ of other important factors. That is one of the reasons why you see good-looking men with women whom you may find very ‘unattractive’ or not pretty.
Femininity knows no age. Men love femininity. Men love women full stop. Femininity attracts masculinity. As long as a woman remains feminine, she won’t have a problem. Why is femininity important?
Well, no woman can truly rely solely on her looks. A lot of men may go for a younger woman because younger women tend to be more innocent, youthful, carefree, ‘un-burdened’ by life’s responsibilities, un-burnt (not bitter from past relationships and past experiences) and of course, it seems to be generally true that before a woman has children and other huge life responsibilities, she is a lot more free.
Younger women tend to also keep their hair long, are sometimes more fun to be around, look up to an older man more, admire an older man more, and be attracted to his masculinity. A lot of older women let themselves lose their zest for life, become boring and ‘serious’, and lose their youthfulness and radiance. Youth doesn’t have to be lost. Looks may be lost, but youth is forever. And, if a woman really, truly keeps herself in shape, eats well, stays happy and exercises, she needn’t have wrinkles even past her 70s!
What men really want is to make their woman happy. Women often seem to, progressively over the years develop a chip on their shoulder and lose their femininity. They lose their precious sense of freedom, radiance, liveliness, innocence, trustfulness and sensitivity.
A man wants to be trusted and looked up to. Just because a woman is older and has more so-called ‘experience’ doesn’t mean she cannot still be feminine, be innocent, look up to her man, let him lead her sometimes (I’m not talking about being docile) and act and feel young.
For many men, as they get older, they want to feel young again. They want to feel like they are still as strong, able, ‘invincible’, and important as they were in their youth. Often, this is why they go for a younger woman. Because they feel a younger woman can make them feel younger and more youthful and bring them more happiness and excitement. And we all know that a lot of the times, older men are being replaced in their job by a younger man, which is difficult for a man.
Many older women also lose interest in sex. I’ve discussed this before in the article 5 Reasons Why Women Shouldn’t Deprive Their Man of Sex’. A younger woman is sometimes more interested in sex, more willing to make time for it. and more likely to make a man feel like he is still attractive and still ‘has it’. Basically, a man wants a womanwho makes him feel like a man! That’s it!
Whilst a 60 year old woman may not look like she did at 20, 30 or 40; femininity is forever. And the greatest thing is that older women often have incredible grace, wisdom and confidence. How beautiful!
As I see it, the reason a man would go for a younger woman is exactly the same reason a man may want to go for an older woman; he’s looking for a feeling.
All men are different. Some men may feel that they can get that feeling from a younger woman. Some may feel that they can get it from an older woman. But ultimately it has nothing to do with age. Both women and men are mistaken in thinking that it is solely to do with age.

In the words of a man….
To close this article, I want to leave you with this passage, written by David Deida, theAmerican author, independent researcher, and teacher (yes, written by a man) which is just so beautiful:
‘For several months, I lived on the Indonesian island of Bali. While I was there, I established a friendship with a Balinese fmaily who owned and operated a little restaurant with three bamboos tables, and where I frequently ate. The family consisted of three sisters and their mother. The three sisters, all in their early 20s, were extraordinarily beautiful. Any one of them could have been a magazine cover girl. Two of the sisters were, in fact, professional models. Their bodies, their faces, their hair – everything about their appearance was captivating. I could hardly eat, their beauty was so enchanting.
For the first few weeks, they were the only people I saw at the small restaurant. Then one day, their mother came out from the kitchen into the dining area. I will never forget that moment. The three beautiful sisters were sitting in the dining area, talking. Their mother walked out and began talking with them. I was shocked by what I saw.
The mother was about 60 years old. Her brown skin was wrinkled from the sun, and she was clearly no longer a young woman. But her beauty was incomparable. From the mother’s eyes shone a rare light of love, compassion and humor. Her every move was filled with an ‘otherworldy grace’. She looked at me, and her smile lit up my heart. I couldn’t believe it. As beautiful as her young daughters were, this old woman was far more beautiful.
It wasn’t her physical appearance but her disposition that so enchanted me. She was so relaxed, so loving, so happy, so wise and so radiant that I felt like bowing in honor of her feminine fullness. Her daughters were but small buds compared with the fullness of her flowering………
My heart widened at the sight of her and continued to do so every time I saw her over the next two months.’

The Case for Going Without Make up – How to rock the Look

‘True Feminine Radiance comes from Within.’

Most sites for women tell you how to put make up ON and how to do it perfectly. Well; this is really counter-intuitive, but I have to say that if you want to attract good men in to your life; go without make up during the day, from time to time (filtering out men who want their woman to always wear make up). From personal experience, I have found that men actually seem to notice me more/are more likely to strike up a conversation with me.
Not to mention that wearing make up has nothing to do with how attractive you are. This article is not about going without make up all the time, it’s about being able to have the freedom to actually go without make up if you have to/if you wish.
Now, I know that my sister blogger Melina advocates not leaving the house without mascara. On this point, I beg to differ. I have left the house many times without make up, and I love it. I recommend it to every woman. I’m not here to tell you whether you should wear make up or not, however. That’s entirely up to you.
Here are 5 GOOD reasons why you might want to go without make up:
5. As humans, we tend to notice contrast. These days, if you go without make up, you stand out from the crowd. Most women wear make up. You may think you look washed out, tired, and un-pretty, but again, as a matter of contrast – this is probably true for YOU because you’re used to wearing make up, but not for others who are first meeting you! And the people who know you will get used to it.
By the way, I’m not talking about the ‘bad’ kind of contrast here. I’m talking about how the look of natural beauty is a huge contrast to most women who are wearing make up. But, this doesn’t mean that a woman should stop taking care of her appearance.
And please, don’t try it once, get all worried, and never do it again – it may take a few goes to get used to it!
4. A woman who doesn’t feel the need to wear make up is fascinating. She’s not trying to be anything. She’s authentically who she is. To a man, if you can go without make-up, this shows you’re very confident. Men and women alike will wonder “what makes her so confident?! Why can’t I do that?!!”
But that’s just the beginning. To a man, it shows that you’re more likely to accept him without judgments. If you have the courage to not succumb to pressure and go without make-up, and accept yourself AS YOU ARE, you come across as the kind of person who would be less likely to judge others. This is all a very subconscious process that we humans go through in our minds.
Think about it: who are mostly the women who snob men off and judge them? The women who obsess over looking perfect, and appearing like very few men are good enough for her.
lack of make-up also makes you seem fascinating because a woman with confidence is a in the minority. It also make you more mysterious.
3. This may not be true with everybody, but I have found that going without make up makes you look younger. It gives a look of authentic innocence and youth. Of course, if you’re not healthy, it won’t work out for you. If you have really bad dark circles, dry, flaky skin etc, it won’t help with the no make up look.
2. I’m really passionate about this one: I have found that foundation actually takes AWAY the natural radiance and glow of my skin!! It gives the image of a clear complexion (though it will never cover up pimples and bad skin properly) and ‘patch-less’ looking skin.
But I have found that, if you’re healthy, the ‘patches’ on your skin will be non-existent, and will be replaced with spots of glowing redness or just an overall, natural, radiant glow in of itself.
But that natural glow of the skin, if it is there, is actually taken AWAY by foundation!

“A woman who cannot be ugly is not beautiful” – Karl Kraus

1. Going without make up forces you to work on the inside. It forces you to be truly OK with who you are. The outside canvas will dissipate with passing years, as father time does his handy work. And by that time, you’re really going to have to know how to feel attractive without make up; without the outer canvas fooling you in to thinking it is the Queen of everything, and the fixer of all your problems.
Of course, going without make up is not ideal for every situation, as you would already know. But, every woman should learn how to let her natural beauty radiate from within, right through the outer layers of her skin. Not to mention that make up is full of very harsh chemicals that have a very real chance of being absorbed in to your skin and other various orifices on your body.

So here are some ways to rock the natural look:
1. Make sure that your hair is clean and fresh. When your hair is at its best, it helps to radiate the overall natural look of radiance. Depending on your individual facial features, you’ll need to choose whether having your hair up or down suits you better when going without make up. Perhaps you can do both!
2. Eat a diet of mainly raw foods. You will be surprised that this is a much better cosmetic than your foundation and other types of make up. Aside from a raw food diet, make sure to cleanse and detox regularly. Make it a habit. You can’t pull off the no make up look when your skin is dull and lifeless from your bad diet.
3. Keep alcohol to a minimum. It really doesn’t help, sister. Not to mention it’s really great for premature aging.
4. Exercise regularly and alternate between cardio work outs as well as doing light weights, tabata exercises and plyometrics. Sweating helps detoxify your body, and refreshes your skin, helping you pull off a natural look. It HAS to come from within!
5. Exfoliate (not every day), cleanse, tone and moisturize. Unless you live in a sub-tropical environment, you most likely have problems with dry skin, so make sure you use a good organic moisturizer.
6. Take a good Omega-3 oil supplement like Krill Oil. Good fats help to keep the skin plump, making you look and feel more youthful.
7. SMILE!!
8. Pay close attention to the clothes you’re wearing. Try not to wear anything too dull in color. Often, wearing something floral and extra-feminine like a colorful maxi dress helps brighten up your overall look.
Going without make up also helps give you character. Individuality. When you learn to love it, it also gives you an enormous sense of freedom! And, I think most women would be surprised by the number of men who would say that they prefer their woman without make up (of course a woman needs versatility, still!). Especially when she’s spending quiet, quality time with him.

Traits of an Angelic Woman

“You’re an angel!” Now that’s compliment, don’t you think? That’s something I certainly wouldn’t mind being described as! Though these days, so many people are saying “hey, babe!” “How are ya babe?” “What’s up babe!” “how you doin babe?” “love ya babe!”
I’m really quite sick of the word babe. However, to give people some credit, I will say that one reason these titles are thrown around quite a bit is because lots of women fit these ‘moulds’. Not always. But, it’s rare to come across a woman who I would describe as angelic. I think angelic qualities are a beautiful thing for a woman to have.
Moreover, Angelic qualities are seen in women who are quite advanced in their awareness, consciousness and femininity. An angelic woman is usually a woman who sees and feels beyond the immediate message.
She is an awakened soul.
For example, if a girlfriend tells her: “omg, I really hate [insert name]“, an angelic woman wouldn’t take that for gospel. She knows there’s something deeper and sees the person for WHO they are. Not what they do or say. She would see that this anger is just a symptom of something deeper. And that her girlfriend is probably feeling hurt and unloved somewhere deep inside.
I believe angels are all around us, disguised as humans.
The dictionary tells us that angelic means:
like or befitting an angel, esp. in virtue, beauty, etc. Of or belonging to angels; A guardian spirit or guiding influence; a kind and lovable person; a typically benevolent celestial being that acts as an intermediary between heaven and earth.
In my view, typically, when someone says “you’re an angel”, they’re implying that you’ve made something better than is originally was. Or that you’re a gift from heaven. Perhaps they could also mean that you’re a breath of fresh air, that you represent true virtue, or that you are a healer.
I don’t recommend that every woman be purely angelic. But, angelic qualities in a woman are definitely something special, don’t you think?

“Angels are always memorable because they never forget what really matters”

What REALLY matters in your life? Is it your career? What you get? How you look? These things may be important to you, but what really DOES matter to you?
To me, what really matters is the memories we create. Many of us miss the sweetest moments in life. We forget that we always have a chance to stop and appreciate and love. Life is too short for dwelling on every little misfortune and thinking: “oh, this always happens to ME!”
Things happen in life – we may lose a wallet full of money, a special watch given to us by our lover, a special necklace from our mom, or a card from a special friend. And these things are painful but what really matters is your relationships with those who mean the most to you. What really matters is all the little blessings in life, and whether you see them or not.
What matters is how you life your life. Not what HAPPENS to you. This is the attitude of an awakened soul; an angelic woman.

Angels are healers

Most people are too busy figuring their own lives out to heal other people. After all, you cannot help others until you have yourself figured out! But in every single tragedy there is a huge gift to be realized. Angelic women are able to heal a sorrowful moment with a soft touch, with a SMILE, with a kiss, with a hug.
I have never ceased to notice throught my life that often, it’s very hard for people (and myself) to show others affection, or even ACCEPTANCE. But part of having that angelic, awakened soul part of you as a woman is having the ability to empathize with EVERYONE. ALL living things. Many of us aren’t conditioned to be like this.
She has the ability to connect with ANYONE. Even if they’re not in the same social circle, or “socio-economic” background. These things don’t matter to the awakened soul. The awakened soul cares about everyone. A difficult place to get to for pretty much all of us!
So, any time you get the chance, perhaps listen to an old man’s story that he’s told over and over. Help a child who is lost in the mall. Speak to a distressed person on the street, and see people for who they are, rather than what they do. This is often really hard because most of us have been conditioned to categorize people, and to eliminate them or consider them “losers” based on certain behaviour.
An angelic woman and awakened soul knows that deep down, we all have the same needs and that we all have the capability to connect with and love and care for one another.
This is part of healing; seeing people for who they are; not what they do.

Angels are messengers and they SEE messages

Have you ever had a moment in your life where you felt like your life was guided? Maybe you had been thinking about a dear friend whom you haven’t seen in years, and you’re going about your daily business and they suddenly turn up in front of you – and you wonder what just happened? You may have thought: “What a coincidence! How did this just happen?!! I was just thinking of you!”
I love these moments. They are such a blessing.
Was it a coincidence?
Have you ever wished for something to happen? Maybe you hoped for a small pet, and one day you got it! Perhaps you hoped for friendship with someone – but wasn’t sure how to go about befriending them, and felt too scared to open to friendship with them – and suddenly, they make a move to befriend YOU?
These moments are a blessing!
See, a woman with angelic qualities is able to SEE that in many ways, our lives are guided. An angelic woman is an awakened soul who is a messenger. What do I mean by messenger?
A messenger is a woman who sees that life is not just a succession of events thatrandomly occur. This is a job most masculine men take up most of the time. They sit there, detached in observation. A woman knows more than that (so can a man). But the angelic woman is a spiritual being who sees the true message:
That there are miracles, and that they DO happen. Miracles are everywhere. This doesn’t mean that there isn’t also tragedy, but the awakened soul/angelic woman sees that there are always people around the world making love, children being born, people crying in happiness, children playing, and people falling in love, even when tragedy occurs.

Finally, some more traits of an angelic woman:

1) Has and keeps faith even when there’s every reason not to.
2) Loves her children/family/boyfriend or husband through any behaviour. Let me say though, that LOVING someone doesn’t mean that you stay with them. Loving someone doesn’t mean you have to keep them in your life. Loving someone means that your heart is open. You can still recognize when you shouldn’t stay in a relationship, but at the same time, you’re willing to still send your love rather than wallow in resentment and hate.
3) An angelic woman realizes that life’s biggest fulfilment and happiness comes when you live it for others. And this doesn’t mean that she neglects herself! Not at all. In fact, she takes very good care of herself, and respects the life she has been given very much. But she knows that her real value and personal power comes from what she can give to others.
4) Softness in disposition. An angelic woman is soft. She is a friend. Someone who is welcoming and warm. She usually does things with charm.
5) An angel is a spirit-centric rather than ego-centric. She unites feelings with knowledge.
6) She doesn’t accept limitations in her life or in other people’s lives.
7) An angelic woman knows that life’s true value is in the moments. Not the results. Not always in the outcome.
8 ) An angel has a light energy. Her energy is not heavy, fake and guarded. She walks past and you are drawn to her energy. Her tranquility.

Juggling Responsibilities in A Woman’s Life: Becoming Successful - Part 1

Hello Cupcakes!

Hope you will like this article regarding juggling responsibilities in a woman's life...You would surely pick up a lot of things that would be of help...

xoxo:-)

Part 1
For changes to be of any true value, they’ve got to be lasting and consistent. – Tony Robbins

I think we all have different definitions of success, but success to me means you are constantly improving the quality of the life you’re living. The secret to happiness and success for a feminine woman is to be regularly improving the quality of your life, bit by bit, each day.
So, my guess is that if you’re a woman, regardless of your age, you have a lot of responsibilities. You may have kids, family, your health and fitness, friends, your man, your spiritual and emotional health, dance/sport/sewing classes, maybe study commitments at school or university, homemaking, perhaps you have a job as well. That’s a lot of responsibility!
SO, how do you actually BALANCE all your responsibilities and work on becoming the best person you can be? You may feel so overwhelmed by everything, and think that you don’t have time to exercise, look pretty, FEEL pretty and fabulous as well as be happy, AND make your man and your family very happy. Overwhelm is the emotion that you don’t want to get to often. When you feel overwhelmed, you start to get stressed, and stress brings havoc to your physical health. Stress is one of the biggest contributors to AGING! You don’t want to stress very much, ideally, if at all. Especially if you want to maintain your beauty and vitality. The key to not getting to overwhelm is to make small improvementsconsistently.
OK, so, to the strategies:
To be successful and to balance and juggle ALL of a woman’s responsibilities, you must take SMALL steps daily to improve the quality not only of your own life, but of those around you as well. The key to this is to not realize that your relationships is suffering and then jump right in to improving that, because then other responsibilities will get neglected.
So, you need to make small improvements daily, and over time, the improvements you think you weren’t seeing will be ACCUMULATIVE. Of course, your children (if you have them) will be a major responsibility and you need to focus on that quite a lot. However, the principle remains the same; you must make improvements to, and work on things consistently and regularly. Not every now and then, but consistently. The Universe rewards consistency, not dibble and dabble.
If you improve only 1% every week for a whole year, you don’t improve 52% at the end of the year. But rather, you improve 178%If you improve 1% every over a year, you improve 3,778%!! This is the effect of consistent, continual and daily improvement!!
What will really make a difference in your life, is to make a decision. Decisions will shape your future. Even if you do not make a decision, you’re still making one; you’re just making one to not do anything at all/not make a decision! So, if you really want to improve the quality of the live you live, you must make a decision to commit yourself to improving things consistently, and then apply your mind, body and soul diligently.
Unfortunately, life is very short. We all want to do more, and want to experience more, but to HAVE that experience, you must work on things bit by bit, consistently. Make small improvements to the condition of your physical body daily. Do small things daily to improve your intimate relationship or your relationship with your friends.
Even if you make a decision to understand a loved one or a friend rather than get angry, you are making a huge decision and putting a lot towards becoming a better woman. You’ll be slowly changing the way you see and do things, and this will accumulate and over time, make your relationships with everybody better, and soon enough, outstanding.
What you must avoid is putting too much time in to one thing at once! Sure, put your heart and soul 100% in to whatever you are doing, and do it with conviction, but just because you find your health and fitness is suffering, going out and running every day for a week is not what you want to do, because you will eventually stop, since there are so many things to do, and we all have so many challenges, that things will come up in life, that you will delay, delay, delay. Not to mention that once you lose momentum, it’s hard to get it back. Momentum can be built gradually, and then it will last.
The problem with jumping right in to something is that (apart from neglecting other areas of your life), often you may not notice results. This kills momentum. But if you acknowledge that success and results come from consistency and commitment over the long-term, you will gain a lot more lasting momentum. After a little while, you’ll start to notice small improvements that will make you feel like you’re accomplishing something, and this will fuel you a little bit more and create momentum that won’t ease off as quickly as it came. Not to mention that repetition also increases success AND repetition will help you make those things that seemed so HARD seem easy in the long run and it will become a habit.
Also – success often just creeps up on you and surprises you without you expecting it! and you may wonder where it came from, and start to feel so lucky! This is all due to consistently applying yourself. Also, never forget that if you’re doing something that takes a lot of time and effort, and it doesn’t seem to be paying off – this is the 80/20 rule in action. 99% of your success will only become APPARENT in the last 20% of your efforts and time put towards it! I have seen this happen in my own life, and the rewards are absolutely mind boggling!
So, perhaps you can make a decision to start with a short 5 or 10 minute run. Then gradually do more. If the house needs cleaning, you can do it bit by bit. Start in one area, and gradually do more until the entire house is clean and tidy.
If you make the decision to make small improvements daily to all the different areas of your life, things will seem less overwhelming overall. Not only that, but you’ll be surprised at the accumulated improvements you will see soon enough down the track. Not to mention you’ll be much better to be around, because you will not be as stressed! :)
If you have a dream, but always feel that you cannot accomplish it, start doing small things DAILY to contribute to it. Remember this:
Just to recap. In order to achieve success in your life, and to be always increasing the happiness you feel, you must be consistently making small improvements daily. And remember that decisions will shape your future. They will shape where you end up in 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 years time. If you do not want to look back and regret things, or feel that you could have done more, employ this strategy I have given you, and give more and heart and soul than anyone you know!
I hope this post will guide you in a positive direction :) If you have any thoughts to share with us, please do in the comments section! :) Take care and have a lovely day/night, wherever you are.
